Work with a psychiatrist who takes the time to get to know you.

Serving Brookline, Boston, & New York State via Telehealth

Good psychiatric care is centered around trusting your patients and taking the time to get to know them.

Psychiatric diagnoses and medications can be confusing to hear about. I believe educating patients about the limitations of psychiatric care and the inherent uncertainty with psychiatric treatment is crucial.

Whether that means therapy, medication, or both, the goal is to help my patients with the tools they need to function at their best.

Practice Update: May 2026 - Currently accepting inquires for integrated therapy and medication management. No medication management slots available.

Please note, I am an out-of-network provider and am not contracted with any insurance companies.

The Difference of a Personalized Psychiatric Approach

  • Harvard-trained psychiatric care delivered with warmth, honesty, and a willingness to educate and explain.

  • Reach your doctor directly when something comes up.

  • For individuals wanting a convenient solution of one doctor who knows your full story.

What conditions do you treat?

I have experience treating a wide range of conditions. Often, there can be overlap with psychiatric conditions - being able to carefully identify these conditions and individualize treatment is the main cornerstone of good psychiatric care. Here are some conditions that I treat:

  • Anxiety (Generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder)

  • Burnout

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Personality Disorders (Borderline Personality Disorder)

  • Impulse-control disorders

  • Bipolar disorder

  • Suicidal Ideation

  • Do you have a specific therapeutic style?

I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and psychoanalytic treatment) but I like to use a combination of them in order to best suit your needs. Regardless of therapeutic style, I always try to maintain a sense of friendliness and honesty when it comes to your psychiatric care.

  • Where is your office located?

My office is located in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, MA. There are multiple metered parking spots available nearby. It is also accessible from the Green Line and convenient to patients across Boston, Cambridge, and Newton. Telehealth appointments are available for patients in Massachusetts and New York State.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. There are some insurance plans that can provide out-of-network reimbursement for my visits. I will provide a monthly superbill to facilitate for this if you are interested in obtaining out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Do you have an ideal patient?

Most of my current patients are college-aged or young professionals trying to seek support for all kinds of issues, such as substance use, ADHD, or job- or school-related burnout. Since I am not a child psychiatrist, I cannot see patients younger than 18.

This being said, I do NOT have an ideal patient! Taking the first steps to see a psychiatrist is quite courageous and I pride myself on working with patients at whatever stage in their mental health journey they are in.

What services do you provide in your practice?

  • Consultation Services

I offer consultations for psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and therapy.

  • Psychiatric Services for Ongoing Management

The session times below are guidelines and may change based on your needs. We will decide how often to meet based on your schedule and what is clinically appropriate given what’s going on with you at the time.

  • Free Consultation (15 min)

Not sure what you need and if I’d be a good fit for your current issues? I’d be happy to talk to you briefly to see if the services I provide are what you need.

  • Medication Management (30 min sessions)

Individuals I see for medication management typically see me once every 4-6 weeks for 30 minutes at a time. This may be a good fit for people who already have a therapist whom they meet with weekly or those who are not interested in therapy services.

  • Initial Diagnostic Consultation (60 - 90+ min)

If you want ongoing psychiatric care, you’ll first have an initial meeting with me. We’ll talk about your current and past issues, as well as any psychiatric medications you are or were taking.

I won’t make you take any medication you don’t want, but I may suggest options that might help you. This session may last over 90 minutes and could need more than one visit, depending on your situation. I might contact your previous doctors to help with the assessment.

At the end, I’ll share my diagnosis, treatment advice, and we’ll decide if we’re a good match for ongoing care.

  • Integrated Therapy (50 min sessions)

Some individuals may be interested in integrated therapy if they are interested in having me both prescribe medications and provide therapeutic services, which may be more convenient for some. I typically see individuals for 50 minutes every 1-2 weeks for integrated therapy.

  • Second-Opinion Consultation (60 - 90+ min)

If you have questions about a psychiatric diagnosis or treatment plan that you are on, I would be happy to provide a second-opinion consultation to give you more clarity on your treatment. I will typically reach out to your current treater as well in order to complete this assessment.

Interested? I’d be happy to talk with you!

Practice Update (May 2026): due to limited availability, I am only accepting inquiries for integrated therapy and medication management. I have no availability for medication management-only slots.
